Kimiko
Private AI note taker for meetings and notes, with local transcription and AI by default
- Artificial intelligence
- Cyprus
Overview
Kimiko is a private AI note taker for meetings and notes on Mac and Windows. It records the microphone and computer audio, so it works alongside Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and other call apps without a bot joining the call. It writes a live transcript with speaker labels, a summary with decisions and suggested tasks, and answers to questions across past meetings and notes, each linked to its source. It also includes dictation into the apps where you already type.
Who it's for: professionals and small teams with many calls who want meeting notes made on their own computer.
What is EU-based: Kimiko is made by Inovia AI Solutions LTD, registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. By default, speech recognition and AI run on the user's own computer, and notes are stored in an encrypted database there. The app still goes online for model downloads, updates, activation and subscription checks. Not everything around the app is European: checkout runs on Stripe, the website and account services on Railway, sign-in on WorkOS, licensing on Keygen, email on Resend, and security and DNS on Cloudflare, all US companies. The optional cloud speech and AI providers (Deepgram, ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter) are mostly US-based and use the user's own account.
The interface is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian. Free trial of 14 days or 5 meetings, whichever lasts longer; then 12 EUR a month or 107.88 EUR a year, tax included.
