Overview

Every email provider assumes a person is behind the inbox: OAuth consent screens, seat pricing, IMAP clients, deliverability tooling designed for marketing campaigns.

Agents don't work that way. They need to create an address in a second, send from it, receive replies as structured events, and tear it down when the task ends. OpenMail is email infrastructure for AI agents. One API call creates an inbox. Sending and receiving happen over HTTP and webhooks. Parsed bodies, threading, and attachments arrive as JSON an agent can act on directly. It's for developers shipping agents that deal with the outside world: support automation, procurement, recruiting, scheduling — anywhere the counterparty is a person or an institution that still runs on email. Data stays in the EU under a Lithuanian entity, so GDPR is the default rather than a data processing addendum. Free tier covers 3 inboxes; metered after that, so spend tracks agents in production rather than seats on a license.
