Rebase

Rebase turns an existing Postgres database into a complete backend.

You define each collection in a single TypeScript file, and Rebase generates the database schema, REST API, typed SDK, forms and admin views from it. Security rules live in the same file and compile into real Postgres policies, so every path into the data (app, cron jobs, scripts, AI agents, the admin panel) goes through the same rules. It ships with Rebase CMS for your team's back office (spreadsheet editing, media, relations, roles, workflows) and Rebase Studio for developers (SQL editor, schema visualizer, RLS policy editor, logs, API explorer). For AI workloads it includes an MCP server, scoped API keys and native pgvector search. Rebase is fully open source under MIT.
